Learning his craft in the early 2000’s, followed by a number of years working in the glazing industry, Jim Turnock established JM Glass in 2008 specialising in the restoration and manufacture of traditional leaded lights, stained glass and historic windows.
Based in Ilminster, Somerset, JM Glass have been involved in a number of large projects located across the West country including; major repair works to Plymouth Cathedral, restoration of glazing at All Saints Church in Martock, and National Lottery Heritage funded renovation projects such as the Literary and Scientific Institute in Bridport and Castle House in Taunton. JM Glass have also provided services to National Trust and Landmark Trust properties, as well as a number of privately owned historically significant buildings.
Joined by wife Sam in 2011 with a passion for art and design, Jim has undertaken a number of private commissions. Working together they are able to design and make completely unique panels for a variety of settings and requirements.
