In 2017 J.M. Glass Ltd were chosen to undertake the restoration work required to the glazing in the Church of All Saints, Martock. As Somerset’s second largest church, and with many of the windows requiring work, this became one of our largest projects to date.
The East and West windows required full re-leading due to severe bowing of the panels. This took many weeks as each panel had to be carefully dismantled, and each individual piece of glass was cleaned by hand before being completely re-constructed using new lead.
This work was carried out to the majority of windows in the church, many of which are made up of extremely detailed designs.
