In 2013, J.M. Glass undertook this commission for clients looking to create a feature of the front window of their property. The brief was to obscure the view of the parked cars outside, whilst complimenting the garden and the house interior. The clients came to us with some ideas in mind, and after looking through pattern books and images we set to work on designing them a completely unique panel.
Once we had some sketches drawn out, we worked closely with the clients to come up with a definite design to work to. We then began choosing glass colours. Working together we selected colour samples that they liked and grouped together colours that worked together, and even considered how the colours would work with other items in the room like the curtains or a glass vase.
The clients were kept up-to-date during the making with pictures and visits to workshop. Once complete, the panel was fitted into the window on site.
